Does the machine damage the tent top?
The Teeco washing machine has been designed to wash tents. It is not a retrofitted
laundry machine. Nor does it have a spin cycle like a laundry machine. And,
we use soap that has been designed for vinyl fabric. You tent will come
out of the machine looking new again! Should
I send my entire inventory (old and new) to you?
That would be wonderful, but it is not recommended. Send us your dirty
inventory. It is not in your best interest to send us a top that is new
and can be spot cleaned. Typically, it is better to send inventory that
is looking worn and tired. That is where you will get the best bang for
your buck.
Do I need to remove belts or ropes?
Not at all. During the inspection process, all ropes (belts) are gathered
into a roll and fastened with cable ties to prevent them from tangling
during the wash cycle. Even your ropes (belts) will look a lot cleaner!
Can I watch my tent being washed?
Absolutely, we invite all our customers to come watch their equipment
being loaded into the machine and wait to see the final results.
Do you use Bleach?
Truthfully, we are not huge fans of using bleach. It is hard on the vinyl,
webbing, and stitching and causes the hardware to rust. (Not to mention
the harmful effects on the environment.) However, if you want us to use
bleach during the wash cycle we will with your approval, but we do not
recommend it.
How large of a section can you wash in one load?
The machine is able to wash 1800 sq.ft. of fabric in one load.
Do you wash anything besides tents?
We can wash any pliable material. Such as drop cloths, tarps, awnings, load covers, and even sail boat sails.
How long will you hang tents to dry?
Depending on the time of year, we will hang tents for anywhere from 1-4
days. Our biggest concern is to make sure your inventory goes back to
you clean and dry.
Do you do repairs?
Yes, we are able to offer light repairs. However, major damage should
be preformed by the manufacturer of the product.
